Marcin Kuzma, MD, FACC
Board-Certified Cardiologist
I studied pre-medicine, liberal arts and management at Indiana University through the Hutton Honors College and Kelley School of Business.
I completed medical school at Jagiellonian University Medical College in Poland, then returned to the U.S. for clinical rotations at UPenn, Cleveland Clinic and the University of Rochester, before completing an Internal Medicine residency and Cardiovascular Disease fellowship at Penn State Health. Training across European and American academic systems gave me a broad clinical foundation — exposure to different patient populations, diagnostic frameworks and ways of thinking about disease before symptoms appear.
Early in my career I developed a focused interest in advanced cardiac imaging and cardiac CT — work that shaped how I think about early cardiovascular risk detection.
The pattern I kept seeing across every practice setting was the same: patients with no symptoms, no prior events and significant undetected cardiovascular disease who slipped through standard care until something happened. HeartspanMD exists to close that gap — most patients don't need to do more, they need to understand what they're actually dealing with and have a clear strategy to act on it.
